My Top 10 Fantastico Indian Songs for Car Drives

There’s nothing like dhinchak Indian music to get your groove on while driving. Indian music has fantastico beats with a catchy tempo that gets you nice and pumped up. Even the soulful ones help you keep a calm head during those tormenting traffic jams!

I’ve listed down 10 of my favourite Indian songs (in random order) that I listen to when on the road. While most of the songs below are Bollywood songs, there’s one that’s a Tamil song which captured my heart right from the first note, and there’s also a Malayalam song! Enjoy 🙂

O Humdum Suniyo Re – Cool, breezy… who doesn’t like this song?


Aloo Chaat – I have no idea why exactly I like this song, but it sticks on like a burr.


Hosanna – Tamil version – Like I said earlier, instant love!


Bezubaan – Great beats and melody make for a great drive


Salsa song – Kunjiramanayana – A quirky choice for a drive but won’t have it any other way.


Puraani Jeans – Takes me back to good times, perfect when driving with friends!


Mere Sapno ki Rani – A Timeless Classic, it just gets you singing


Kahi Toh Hogi Woh – Can’t do without this one. Just is pure mellifluousness!


Sooraj Dooba Hai – Could a drive be without this song?
